Giddiness at work

21 Jun 2008 10:02 pm

I dragged myself into and through the activities I had today. The past week was draining having saw the 2nd week sessions for the Advanced Elective Modules(AEM) in which I helped out with the robotics lab materials. So today, I was practically trying real hard to be energetic and attentive or at least to look like one. But for some reason, it feels it wasn’t because of the AEM though it had accounted for past 12 bedtime sleeps and a bit of stress cells firing up. A well-read friend of mine brought up TATT or Tired All The Time syndrome. It seems it’s exactly what I’ve been feeling everyday lately that few minutes after reporting to work, I would start to feel giddy like I’ve been working for countless hours. He said it’s the result of overwork and stress - sort of a backfire against the stubborn nature of people of my kind who tend to feel too comfortable ticking away tasks.

What’s the cure you ask? Anti-depressant which side-effects wouldn’t appeal to men who don’t want to under-perform.
