Welcome! I'm the receptionist-cum-mascot. I'm a teddy bear in case you can't tell. Anyway, you've just arrived to a place people call a blog. Do feel at home as we've made this especially simple for everyone to navigate.

Bad Login to Apple Dev Connection

2 May 2009 1:15 am

If today was spent well, I would be happily moving on fine with this thing I’ve been working on. Sadly, I’ve practically spent the entire day out walking in search for another wi-fi. Reason being Apple’s Developer Connection keeps throwing me out to their “welcome” doormat. Their portal can’t seem to recognize my account just when I’m about to get closer to the resources I need. No it’s not just the typical error you get when you forget your password or user id. It’s that type that when it happens you’d feel like the world has turned its back on you because no matter how many times you try you’re still there being asked to key in your user and pass, it can get that frustrating. Well, see my case, I’m quite sure I have most of the things I need in there and I can’t get in because of a hitch in the login system. The initial login is relatively smoother — relatively because initial logins throw me out as well until the nth time. Once I’ve decided on the references to download, a click on a link brings me back to the login page. Upon doing million times of that, still nothing. I googled it to no avail. Just resulted to a number of equally ill-fated beings whining and searching for answers — one of whom gave me the idea to search for another connection.

Please help me get my entry at Threadless.com printed out. My printer has already run out of ink :P. Anyway, my piece is a tribute to people in rescue work.

Your vote is very much appreciated :).

I came 5th

4 Apr 2009 9:10 pm

I came 5th in the second run of the interestingly creative puzzle contest by Jehzeel at Jehzlau-concepts.com. At the time, I was supposed to blog-hop and was in no mood to crack a bit of my brain but, like I said, it was interestingly creative and intriguing so I gave one of the questions a try. I know most puzzles are made up of either numbers, shapes, colors, words, images but his own IQ puzzles are HIS OWN – never before seen style, sorry for the understatement, you can take a look at it yourself. See how he used his own trademark — hand-drawn blue stickmen, to help you generate more brain cells. I tried it out because it seemed harmless… And earned myself 5 USD!

Check it out. It’s fun, the mechanics are well in place, all you need to do is solve and get the chance to win cash.

Designing with Halftone

Just the other day I was searching for a decent halftone tutorial to render gradients in shirt designs. To know more about gradients and halftones I’ve collected a few useful links:
